Kabengele Bredt holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Electrical Power Engineering, from the RWTH Aachen University in Germany. He joined the Fichtner Group in Germany in 2007, working first as a management consultant and later as a business development consultant for Africa.

In 2012 he relocated to Nairobi and is responsible for business development in Eastern Africa.

Since 2024, Kabengele Bredt has been the Chairperson of the German Business Association in Kenya (GBA), which represents more than 160 companies in Kenya.
